To import organic products into the EU, it is necessary to have a certificate of conformity issued by an authorized control body.
The current certification is based on compliance with the OCS standard equivalent to EU regulation EC 834/2007, but with the publication of Regulation (EU) 2018/848, the same regulatory framework is established for productions within the EU and outside it.
Certification according to equivalent standard is possible until 31.12.2024. Below you may find OCS equivalent standard and basic act – Regulation (EU) 2018/848 and regulations adopted based on it.
